Dr. Lisa Germain has been a dentist for over 35 years. After completing her DDS degree from the University of Maryland, she graduated from the esteemed Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University with a Master of Science Degree and specialty certificate in Endodontics. In 1985 she achieved Diplomate status and became board certified in her specialty.
Due to her desire for a more comprehensive knowledge of dentistry, she broadened her scope of practice. She completed an extensive hands-on course at the Engel Implant Institute, and then enrolled in a residency program at the Misch Institute to study both implantology and restorative/prosthetic dentistry. She was awarded a Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute in 2009, as well as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists the same year.
Dr. Germain’s unique combination of skills and experience make her a prominent, world expert in the differential diagnosis and treatment of odontogenic and non-odontogenic facial pain, dental materials, and treatment planning for optimum success. Dr. Germain lectures around the world at dental meetings and in university settings on a variety of dental topics, is a member of numerous dental organizations, and is a contributing author for Dentistry Today as well as other dental publications.
Dr. Germain is in private practice in New Orleans, LA. She is is excited to serve as the Clinical Director at DC Dental where she hopes to bring you the most cutting edge information and education available in the field of dentistry.
